Sherkica Miller McIntyre
Sherkica Miller-McIntyre is a lover of all things real estate!
She passionately uses her over 20 years of experience, knowledge and resources as an investor, broker-owner, property manager and coach/consultant to educate, encourage and empower women to build wealth through real estate beginning with the foundation of home ownership.
As the visionary behind A Home For Her, Inc., Sherkica desires to "bridge the gap" of both wealth and homeownership amongst African-Americans one home at a time through a holistic approach to first time home buyer education, colleague collaboration and strategic community partnerships.
Being a successful business woman would not be possible without the support and encouragement of her husband Gary and amazing four children, Codi, Mackenzie, Madison and Masyn. To disconnect and decompress, Sherkica travels often and has a fondness for adult coloring books.

LaPorsche Miller
LaPorsche Miller is a Management and Program Analyst with over 10 years of experience in Human Resources with the federal government. LaPorsche is also a real estate agent and investor. She knows how important a home is for long-term happiness and wealth growth. LaPorsche is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and creative energy to encourage others to accomplish their goals and succeed. She is inspired daily by her husband and children. In her free time, LaPorsche likes to hike, read, and have movie nights with her family.
Deidre Johnson
As Founding Broker and CEO/Owner of Blackberry Realty Group, Deidre has built a “Boutique” Real Estate Company with agents who align with the mission:
“… committed to paying it forward through dedicated service and the education of its clients so that the legacy of our community is never forgotten.”
Buying and selling real estate is very much like picking the ripest berries for the pies her grandmother use to make while adding each ingredient with care. With two decades of Residential Real Estate experience, she understands the importance of being sales driven, but also recognizes the importance of remaining dedicated to treating each transaction with care. It doesn’t matter if the client is a first-time buyer, a seller, an investor or
someone simply seeking advice; a successful agent must be educated on market trends and changes; foster professional industry relationships that will translate into a successful transaction for clients.
Deidre is a wife, mother and grandmother. She deems her family her greatest accomplishment to date.
MJ Clay
M.J. Clay, is currently an NC licensed attorney, and works for a federal agent, presiding over federal administrative proceeding. In addition, MJ is a licensed NC/SC Real Estate Consultant with Carod Properties, LLC. Prior to becoming a licensed Realtor, MJ worked as a mortgage broker with various wholesale firms.
With over 18 years of combined Real Estate Experience, MJ, has worked with residential and commercial clients to meet their real estate needs. Also, as a notary, and real estate investor, MJ provide comprehensive advice and expertise to meet your real estate needs.
As a native of Charlotte, MJ proud wife and mother of two beautiful daughters, proud alumna of North Carolina Central University- School of Law, and UNC-Charlotte School of Business. In her free time, MJ enjoys traveling, recreational sports, reading, and fellowshipping with friends and family.
Linda Rogers
Linda Rogers is from Newark, NJ and have a passion for inspiring a safe space to break generational curses, societal norms and stereotypes. Linda is a Program Manager with over 30 years of experience whereas she manage, lead and direct the work efforts of project managers. She integrate initiatives success metrics to track planning, execution, budget and business accountability (risk and intended objectives) of projects.
Linda ensures rigorous adherence to the budget and spending in her work and personal life and that evidence of adherence is reflected in the outcome of positive results in savings and not over spending.
As a household with a single income she prided herself of making "No Excuses" on achieving her goals and those goals included making a positive impact in all that she do! She started a logistics company with her son for generational wealth which is what she want to pour into others with her similar background.
Linda is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where service, scholarship and sisterhood is her mission and she loves to craft in her spare time. Linda is the proud mom of an adult son who's completed his Masters degree and is gainfully employed in the IT fields also.
Homeownership Advisory Committee
The Homeownership Advisory Committee is a group of current "her" homeowners that will complete the initial review of applications, provide recommendations to the board for approvals of grant applications and will be a support system via encouragement and accountability partnership to future homeowners through their buying process.
